Leading Ladies is a comedy involving two English Shakespearean actors who find themselves so down on their luck that they are performing at the Moose Lodges in Pennsylvania. When they hear that an old lady in York, PA is about to die and leave her fortune to her two long lost English nephews, they resolve to pass themselves off as her beloved relatives and get the cash. The trouble begins when they get to York and find out that it isn’t nephews, but nieces who will inherit. This show is suitable for older teens and adults because of some suggestive behavior since the men will be dressing as women at times during the show.
