Don't Miss the Summer 3-fer Special

The Winder-Barrow Community Theatre is excited to announce their summer lineup of plays and a special summer price. The 3-fer Summer Special includes one ticket to each of the three summer shows and only costs $25.00. Individual tickets for each show as well as the 3-fer Summer Special can be purchased at both ticket locations for the theater. Credit card orders can be made at Winder City Hall (770-867-3106). Tickets can also be purchased at Pam Veader’s State Farm Insurance Office at 41 S. Center Street in Winder (770-867-1679) with cash or checks.

The summer line-up includes:

“Hallelujah Girls” – June 25 & June 26 at 7:30 pm; June 27 at 3:00 pm
This hilarious comedy about a group of feisty females in Eden Falls, Georgia, starts when they decide to shake up their lives. The action takes place in an old church that has been turned into the SPA-DEE-DAH day spa. When an old ex-boyfriend shows up to help fix up the building, the sparks start to fly. Come out and enjoy this side-splitting, joyful comedy. Tickets are $10 per person.

“The Wizard of Oz” – July 23 at 7:30 pm; July24th at 11:00 am and 7:30 pm
This beloved story is a dramatization by Anne Coulter Martens of the Frank Baum story. Bring the special child in your life to see this wonderful show. This show will have children up through adults in the cast and is appropriate for all ages. Tickets are $5.00 for children up to age 12 and $10 for ages 13 and up.

“Bye Bye Birdie” – August 6, 7, 13, & 14 at 7:30 pm; August 8 & 15 at 3:00 pm
This musical comedy takes place in 1958 and is centered around an Elvis Presley type rock and roll superstar named Conrad Birdie. You will probably recognize the songs as you watch this fast paced musical. This is the third show in the WBCT Main Stage Season. Tickets are $10.00 (in advance) for seniors/students & teachers and $12.50 (in advance) for adults.

If you are a Season Ticket holder at WBCT, you can use the fifth ticket of your season package for “Hallelujah Girls” if you would like to. There will also be two Christmas shows where you can use your extra ticket.
